چکیده
Abstract In this academic position paper, we propose the 12 Principles of a novel and more sustainable approach to hydrometallurgy that call “circular hydrometallurgy.” The paper intends set basis for identifying future areas research in field hydrometallurgy, while providing “sustainability” benchmark assessing existing processes technological developments. Circular refers designing energy-efficient resource-efficient flowsheets or unit consume minimum quantities reagents result waste. application circular involves new ways thinking about how is applied both primary secondary resources. either case, emphasis must be on regeneration reuse every reagent process. This not only acids bases employed leaching pH control, but also any reducing agents, oxidizing other auxiliary reagents. Likewise, consumption water energy reduced an absolute minimum. To consolidate concept hydrometallurgical flowsheets, present will boost sustainability: (1) regenerate reagents, (2) close loops, (3) prevent waste, (4) maximize mass, energy, space, time efficiency, (5) integrate materials flows, (6) safely dispose potentially harmful elements, (7) decrease activation (8) electrify wherever possible, (9) use benign chemicals, (10) reduce chemical diversity, (11) implement real-time analysis digital process (12) combine with zero-waste mining. Although realize choice these principles somewhat arbitrary could imagined some merged, are nevertheless convinced framework Principles, as put forward provides powerful tool show direction innovation industry academia. متن کاملThe Twelve Principles of CO2 CHEMISTRY.
This paper introduces a set of 12 Principles, based on the acronym CO2 CHEMISTRY, which are intended to form a set of criteria for assessing the viability of different processes or reactions for using CO2 as a feedstock for making organic chemicals. The principles aim to highlight the synergy of Carbon Dioxide Utilisation (CDU) with the components of green and sustainable chemistry as well as b...
متن کاملAdapting the Twelve Principles of Classic Animation to Lectures
This paper borrows from the fields of classic animation and 3D animation and adapts the fundamental principles of these subjects to the lecturing context. An analogy is drawn between an animator and a lecturer due to their shared objective: to communicate in an engaging way. If the fundamental principles of animation are read under the point of view of how they communicate a message, it is not ...

THE STRENGTHS of 10 Propositions Regard ing Air Power* are that the volume is simple, slim, assertive, and challenging. These charac teristics also contribute to a few of its weaknesses. Because it seems to aim at being a book of airmen’s apho risms, it is necessarily as insubstantial in the depth and strength of many of its arguments as it is slim in size. Its many assertions are not allotte...
متن کاملApplication of Ionic Liquids in Hydrometallurgy
Ionic liquids, low temperature molten salts, have various advantages manifesting themselves as durable and environmentally friendly solvents. Their application is expanding into various fields including hydrometallurgy due to their unique properties such as non-volatility, inflammability, low toxicity, good ionic conductivity, and wide electrochemical potential window. This paper reviews previo...
